I’ve grown up in a community who are extremely pro-life. The “abortion is baby murder types.” Never once did I hear anyone suggest murdering someone over it. Sadly I’ve been seeing similar posts to this. I’m sorry. You certainly aren’t alone in being shocked by their partners stance. He…he said he’d KILL you? Hon. HON. You gotta go. This man is not safe. And he is NOT a good guy. Please start getting your affairs in order to leave. PLEASE. So your partner said he is going to kill you if you abort a child. There’s nothing like the Conan The Barbarian 40th Anniversary 1982 2022 Shirt in addition I really love this threat of premeditated violence to build bonds with a loved one! Sounds like you’re about to dodge the bullet of a lifetime. I don’t think he should be allowed to reproduce but it’s your choice, or maybe it isn’t. Well, whatever you decide, stay safe and don’t tell him you’re moving out. Lord knows what he’d do if he ever found out. Maybe it’s better not to ask? When you ultimately leave this guy, he might not be peaceful about it. Watch your back. If you don’t have a network of safe places and safe people, build it now. Plan a safe exit strategy and RUN. Break up with him, he views you as an incubater, a means to an end to get a kid & not as a human being. You are a whole woman with thoughts, feelings, feels pain etc. a woman who has built a full life. In his eyes that ranks lower then some fetal tissue with no thoughts or feelings. He even said it himself, he would kill you if he cant control your body. This is a whole parade of red flags, leave him. The problem with the line of questioning around whether abortion is okay if pregnancy is a result of rape , incest etc is that it still assumes other people have the right to approve a woman’s choice about her body and her life based on her circumstances. Like the women didn’t consent to the sex so okay, we will let herhave a choice now. But a woman who consented to sex is not entitled to the same choice? We don’t have empathy for women as people, only as victims?

Every mother should be a willing mother , and every child should be a wanted child. There’s nothing more to it. If he casually talks about how you don’t have bodily autonomy Conan The Barbarian 40th Anniversary 1982 2022 Shirt in addition I really love this and how he wants to murder you, he isn’t a good person, he’s a terrible person who will become abusive if he hasn’t already. Dude, he threatened to kill you. Yes, he did. For doing something currently legal that you have done before. He is your partner. Casually throwing out “I would murder you” scenarios to win rhetorical points is profoundly fucked up. This is a fucked up way to talk to someone you love. If your response had been, “if you murdered me then my brothers would beat you to death with baseball bats”, would he have felt safe? Why is he allowed to casually threaten your safety??
