I think for a lot of the Compassion Is Not A Crime Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this points you mentioned, KP was much better pre-pandemic. A lot of businesses had to shut down permanently so it still hasn’t quite recovered. And when things opened up again they had way more partygoers flooding in than they could handle. I’m not sure what led you to believe that it is good for coworking spaces, I don’t remember them ever being common there. Not enough people for there to be a reliable market for it. There are DNs, but they presumably work from home. For food – yes, the tourist food courts aren’t great, there’s a reason Thais never eat there. But you mentioned there are a ‘few good spots’. Isn’t that… enough? Like, it’s a tiny island, you can’t expect there to be many restaurants. I’ve always heard of it being a divided island, where there’s the “Full Moon Party” blackout drunk kids, and the woo woo tantra cult side. It’s weird that neither are mentioned in this post, though I have heard that the tantra woo woo side has been replaced with the EDM pseudo spiritual Tuluminati crowd. I looked into visiting recently but room rates were like $3,700 for a week – it’s definitely been overrun, unsure which community is most heavily represented these days though.

I think KPG is not a great place for remote work, for me there were too many distractions such as workshops, great cafes and restaurants (srithanu), lots of events and parties.. For me it is too different to my work and too hedonistic for a work environment. Better off in Bali or Chiang Mai or somewhere else. Also, I went to some coworking spaces in KPG and there are some decent ones (the Compassion Is Not A Crime Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this hustle club or the one up in srithanu on the hill…) but I still never got into a workmode there so I decided to keep it as my holiday/vacation space. I think KPG energy is too “airy” and ungrounded for a digital nomad / entrepreneur spot. I have to disagree with Krabi. I was there last year, maybe I had bad luck (but I searched a lot) and I found 0 infrastructure towards DNs.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
