Eggs Benedict isn’t a beginner level dish, but he didn’t even have to make the Coming Soon Scream A Brand New Thriller From Wes Craven Shirt besides I will buy this hollandaise sauce — just heat the pre-made sauce, poach an egg, fry up some bacon or ham, and put a muffin in the toaster. Assemble. I absolutely loathe the “just tell me what to do and I’ll do it!” approach some men take for household tasks. A grown ass man should be able to look around and notice things need to be done. Litter box full? Clean it. Laundry piling up? Do it. Dirt on the floor? Sweep it. You know, at first I was bracing myself for this post of something else getting blown out of proportion for a vent / rant, and then I was like “oh. OH. Jesus christ. Wow what a fail.” NTA, he’s an idiot. There’s a difference between “can’t cook” and “can’t feed himself to save his life even with everything laid out for him.” I can understand someone who’s never really gotten beyond basics like a breakfast skillet and spaghetti / ramen, because maybe they eat out a lot or something. I’d still say they can’t really cook, but they can at least feed themselves.
