Does he perhaps have a physical disability that prevents him from helping? She sees him as selfish, but she doesn’t know his situation. Not all medical conditions are visible. Maybe his situation is also mental. Not everyone feels comfortable approaching women if there’s a chance to be seen as predator. Exactly. We should just stop making assumptions of others. Look inwards rather than imposing our ideals on others. We have no idea what’s going on in everyone else’s lives and minds. Offering to help would honestly be disrespecting her strong, independent motherhood. More power to ya lady Keep lifting them bags and eventually you’ll build up your strength and it’ll become easier. Wouldn’t want to take that experience and growth away from you “If this were a town square, a hundred years ago, my neighbour would no doubt get off his arse and help carry my bags or watch my child while I do the Columbus Blue Jackets NHL Santa Snoopy and Woodstock Christmas Shirt But I will love this return trip to get the second load.”

Columbus Blue Jackets NHL Santa Snoopy and Woodstock Christmas Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Let’s be completely real here. If this were a town square, a hundred years ago (1923), the Columbus Blue Jackets NHL Santa Snoopy and Woodstock Christmas Shirt But I will love this town would be demonizing her as a harlot out to seduce the good, upstanding men of the town, for the temerity of having a child out of wedlock. I’ve made a similar comment as you before in another thread, this imaginary “village” must have had 80,000 monks to help everyone because it sounds like utopia. Meanwhile all I see when I look at the past are children getting sent to factories as young as 5, definitely not the same village. She’s a great example of a “toxic feminist”. She’s someone who wants all the benefits of being a strong, independent woman – like financial independence, control over with (or without) whom she’ll have children, and generally the freedom to make her own choices about her own life. And all of that is fantastic, and I support it, and none of that makes her toxic. Where she becomes toxic is the point at which she refuses to accept the individual responsibility for the consequences of her choices. Choosing to be a single mother means that, among other things, bringing in groceries is probably going to be a pain in the ass. But it seems like she is determined to blame everyone else for any negative consequences of her choices. It isn’t her fault that groceries are a pain, it’s the neighbor who is wrong for not offering to help.
