There has recently been a leaked draft of a judgement from the Colorful Cat Kitten T-Shirt In addition,I will do this Supreme Court that hasn’t actually been returned yet that suggests that they will be overturning Roe v Wade (either partially or completely, I’m not sure) in the near future based on a current case. Nothing has actually been legally decided yet, just some internal documents leaked that suggests they’re going to rule in that way in the near future. As for this thread, OP has cut together some non-answers from confirmation hearings where justices either said “Yeah, Roe v Wade is an important precedent-setting case” (which is simply factually true) or “I can’t comment on hypothetical cases” and so on to post as a “gotcha, they lied” video to freak out about.

Regardless of anyone’s opinions regarding Roe v Wade and the Colorful Cat Kitten T-Shirt In addition,I will do this justices weighing in on the topic now, OP’s video is sensationalist, at best, and the title is factually incorrect since they didn’t lie. I was unable to figure out what the aha gotcha moment was, the clip has very neutral opinions and potrays say what needs to be said and get it over with. My opinion on abortion aside(pro abortion and it has to be a right) this looks like clutching at any straws available to demonise those judges. You are correct. This video really isn’t damning at all, it’s someone trying to stir up drama (especially from people who are looking for an excuse to get enraged). ACB saying she doesn’t have an agenda to overturn Roe doesn’t mean she’s committing to upholding Roe as a judge. Kavanaugh calling it an ‘important precedent’ is more of a statement of fact. Again, no commitment to upholding Roe or Casey and no suggestion that ‘important precendents’ can’t be overruled. Gorsich basically gave a history lesson and said ‘a good judge will consider these facts.’ Again, no commitment one way or another. Alito talked about how a ruling can be strengthened when it’s reaffirmed, but does not suggest it is un-overturnable.
