For the Colorado Buffaloes Culture shirt In addition,I will do this sake of the potential child, do not have it unless you really want. There are people who didn’t plan having kids but thanks to maternal/parental instincts turned out to be the happiest ever as being parents gave them a lot of joy and meaning to their lives, but then there are parents who didn’t get that and their kids, well, could have happier childhood. Some kids get affected by this so much they question things like “is it even worth living” etc. Not good. It’s probably not a risk worth taking unless you want kids. You don’t need to feel bad, you don’t need to explain this and honestly – nobody should judge you, is it a bit selfish to take care of yourself primarily? I don’t think so, it’s not easy nowadays and getting kids is not economically the best decision. And your anxiety about world in 50 years from now – I completely understand that, I feel the same. My thoughts are in 50 years we won’t exist anymore anyways, or we find a cure to death or something, I don’t know. But if you ever feel you want kids and that you could be a good mother, I’d say do it.

Don’t let others with kids try to goad you into it or family members, either. This is your decision to make and live with…not theirs. I don’t like the child-free community and their loud distain for people who do have kids. The name-calling and derogatory descriptions for parents and children is completely unnecessary. Look, if you don’t want kids don’t have them. There is 0 reason to unless you are 100% sure that’s what you want from life. There’s 8 BILLION people already. If some of us choose to not have kids we will be fine. And if not, maybe the world should have structured itself better.
