Just became a dad, I saw someone say something like “you only get to play Santa 10-12 times” if you just have the Collingwood Magpies Australian Football League Champions shirt Apart from…,I will love this one kid. So imma embrace it so effin hard! I already was a Christmas nut job. Now it will have huge payoff Eh, watching my nieces and nephews greedily open toys and run to their room to play video games quashed that for me. I’ve experienced the buildup with different kids, including my nieces and nephews, it’s nice but exhausting. You can’t assume everyone with a kid or without a kid will feel the same way about thr experience. Some people raise shitty kids, but there is a lot more to all of it than that. But it is fine, you don’t need to come on here defending your choice not to have kids. That is totally fine too man.

Yeah, it definitely depends on how you raise them. We focus on together time over gifts (but they do still get a few small gifts each in their socks). Birthdays are more of a gift giving event. Yule becomes a huge month-long party where we do something fun every day: bake different types of cookies, decorate, do little craft projects with a movie on in the Collingwood Magpies Australian Football League Champions shirt Apart from…,I will love this background, there’s mulled wine for adults/hot cider for kids, and they love to learn about traditions from other cultures. The big day itself is everyone just hanging around in pajamas. We stopped traveling once we had kids and we just relax with some delicious food. It’s awesome. Idk man, I’m very happy to spend the holidays with my adult siblings (late 30s to early 50s). We feel like kids again and lifelong inside jokes fly around non-stop. Only two of them out of 6 have kids and the kids themselves actually don’t even fit in as they take after the other parent other than my siblings. I’m sure for some people, the holidays feel more special with kids but saying they aren’t as special without them in general? GTFO.
