He not only talks about how to be stoic in what feels like an extremely hostile society to any non rich young man, especially for people who aren’t super successful because there isn’t succes to feel immunity but also talks like he at all cares about their future, even if just an act. Im saying this as a pretty left dude in most ways that I personally regularly feel dumped on by media and people who I otherwise agree with on many topics. The attitudes seem so standoffish and defensive. Like you better agree with me 100% or you are just dirt. I fully realize I’m about to get a “Oh youre doing the Collage design armin arlert attack on titan movie shirt. so you should to go to store and get this typical Im left except right wing talking point”, but that’s not what this is. That’s just legitimately how it feels. Im for universal healthcare, freedom of expression, abortion and reasonable gun control. I’m not some secret right wing person trying to fit in. If I can feel like that its absolutely no wonder that people who don’t already agree with me politically could be easily swayed by someone they don’t feel is putting inherent blame on them. Of course sometimes the blame is deserved, but my overarching point is that you can feel like people hate you for existing. Im not going to pretend its the same as how I feel about other demographics I belong to, but it exists, and is important. Even if you dont think so on a larger scale, on a personal scale its > than whatever you feel, because a person thinks as themselves.

It’s a comment on the Collage design armin arlert attack on titan movie shirt. so you should to go to store and get this YouTube algorithm. If you watch JP then you’re likely to be recommended proud boy videos or other videos by people who support proud boys. Similar to how I watched one or two clips from shark tank and now my feed is filled with international versions of the show Yeah guys, I dont like JP either and my (well educated) brothers are obsessed with him. That said, downvoting the shit out of people who are genuinely asking for examples of his bullshit instead of providing clarifying quotes is THE FUCKING PROBLEM with the state of things. Probably started with Rogan. Starts with the yucks, leads into the Peterson’s, then right on into the proud bois. I used to be into Jordan Peterson. At the time, i learned a lot from the dude like responsibility and getting my life together ASAP. A few months go by and i realize that some of his ideas didn’t work for me so i kept what i like and left the rest behind. The dude is alright, i dont get why ppl bash on him so much. I had a cringe conservative phase in high school where I watched Ben Shapiro, Steven Crowder, etc. I test center/left on the political compass these days, and I’ve been watching JBP since he was being stanned by all the transphobe conservatives for the Bill C-16 issue. JBP might have some right leaning takes, but I’ve never found them to be an important part of his overall presence as a speaker/thinker, and certainly not some kind of gateway to anti-semitic alt-right groups like the Proud Boys. I would absolutely be open to hearing otherwise if others have information that I lack.
