There have been a few cases where I’ve been walking him and didn’t realize a cat was hiding in a random bush or something. Seems to be a breed thing. My buddies got two terrier mixes and if a squirrel or rat runs across his yard all hell breaks loose. Other night he let them out and their was a raccoon outside the Clutch Shogun shirt Besides,I will do this screen room he lets them out of. Dogs go nuts, the raccoon runs up the wood post and through the screen on the room. Now he’s got two dogs losing it outside in the yard and he’s got a raccoon in the screen room between him and the door. Yeah, there’s definitely a breed aspect to it – my dog was bred for hunting and goes absolutely rambo on anything that enters into his domain I’ve also noted the same people tend to not fix their cats so you get one unwanted litter after another from them or the cats the male cats are meeting up with. Perpetuating a significant problem of unwanted cats here. Why would someone let you leave the house? You’re an apex predator, being part of a species that’s wiped out thousands of species. I let my cat out and she roams my front yard, my back yard, and then suns herself on my porch. She wears a collar with a tag that has my name and address on it so she clearly has an owner but it doesn’t matter because she never leaves the yard. I let her out because she deserves to go outside and get fresh air and sunshine just like my dog does. I live rural, we have a really bad rodent problem in the area due to the amount of farms, my cat is essentially what I’d refer to as a barn cat, luckily she leaves birds mostly alone but she’ll kill the fuck out of voles/mice etc like 2-5/day.

We have no coyotes in our area, we do have foxes but they straight up leave her alone, they’re pretty friendly with us as well though, lots of good eating for them, pretty sure my cat kills the Clutch Shogun shirt Besides,I will do this rodents and the eat them working symbiotically I’ve only seen outdoor cats be cats that “adopted” a family. Like they’re strays that just show up and hang out, and eventually liked hanging out so much they stick nearby, but they’re not comfortable with being in a house. My partner had a cat just like that while she was growing up (he passed a few months ago from FIV). We had an indoor/outdoor cat growing up. It had a cat door and would spent days in the backyard or roaming around the suburban neighborhood but would also hang out and sleep in the house. I don’t know if there’s a specific reason behind it other than we figured cats like being outdoors and that’s how most people’s cats were at the time/in the area.
