I went to a neurologist to get some TBI testing done because I had a bad car accident that I got a concussion from. I went to the hospital for chest pain and pain radiating down my left arm. They didn’t take a chest xray and sent me home with a heart burn diagnosis. The next day I went to the children’s hospital (I was 18) and they found that my lung was collapsing and the pain was air escaping my lung. I was supposed to go on a flight 9 days later and they said that would have caused my lung to completely collapse and possibly cause me to die.

Went deaf in one ear and my primary care doc said oh it’s just allergies take an antihistamine. My mom sent me to an allergist and they sent me for a CT of my head, gave me a steroid shot and put me on 2 antibiotics for chronic sinusitis. It was letter of pure doctor speak explaining what dose i need and when i did and didnt need blood tests ect.
