Diane being his ex-wife made way more sense and showed up a few times in cameos. Who needs Diane’s replacement when you get Diane? She decided not to guest star on Frasier similarly to how I ”decided” not to date Margot Robbie. It was never really up to me. Omg, dude, kinda the Cleveland Browns feed the line shirt But I will love this same here. I decided not to pursue a relationship with Jaime Pressly because our lifestyles were so different. Didn’t even let her know, just kept it a clean break. Poor girl. She could’ve been heartbroken. “Didn’t even let her know, just kept it a clean break. Poor girl.” Jfc, this is the best thing I’ve read on the internet today. Hahaha. That’s soooo lame. Scientologists believe that Scientology can replace psychiatry. And they pretend they help people with addiction problems but all they want is more slaves for their military yachts. The reason Scientologists are so against psychiatrists and not other kinds of medical professionals is because Hubbard hated the american psychiatric association for calling out how unscientific Dianetics was Like imagine if the new testament just went on and on about how Astronomy was the work of the devil, alongside reliable evidence that Jesus tried to become an astronomer, sucked at it and was mocked by other astronomers. The dumb thing is, yes, psychiatry absolutely has some very dark periods. It wasn’t even that long ago they were literally cutting out parts of people’s brains as basically a cure-all for practically any psychological issue. But that doesn’t negate the advances psychiatry and psychology has made within the past century.

That’s like being against going to a doctor because they used to bleed people and sawed off limbs without anesthesia. Also, I don’t think people are that ignorant of the Cleveland Browns feed the line shirt But I will love this history of psychiatry. There are many movies, shows, books, etc. that reference it. Then again, most of them aren’t the smartest of the bunch, and Scientologist is pretty powerful in HOllywood so no coubt there is blackmail going on. I believe there’s under 40,000 Scientologists worldwide. Don’t get me wrong, that’s a lot, but it’s less than you might anticipate based on their media footprint. They specifically target the wealthy and famous, and so have an outsized cultural footprint for their actual size. From what I read Scientology offered a celebrity only religious service. The other religious services in LA at the time wouldn’t. Many celebrities wanted to go to Church, but couldn’t, because it would turn the service into a spectacle with fans flooding the service, trying to sit next to them, getting autographs in the pews, and so on. Hubbard saw the value of having celebrities join, and strove to cater to their every need. It grew to be that it became a good networking opportunity. The church would even set up a pipeline, offering classes to aspiring actors, then setting up the most committed and talented aspiring actors with the established celebrities to jump start their careers. Whole thing snowballed from Hubbard basically being a narcissistic elitist who didn’t see why special, secret church for the rich and famous might be frowned apon, and it just grew from there.
