Back when I was into aquariums Walmart wasn’t a terrible place to get fresh water tropical fish on the Clayton Keller American professional ice hockey winger T-Shirt In addition,I will do this smaller side, like guppies, since they were inexpensive and typically didn’t die quick. However, there was no way I was ever getting any remotely semi legit fish from Walmart. I worked for Walmart in the late 80’s, in the pet dept. Management did not give a damn about the animals. 90% death/attrition rate…. didn’t care. They cared about selling the stuff you needed for the pets, not so much the pets themselves. Makes sense, but they literally didn’t care if any/all the pets died any given week. I don’t know how many times my manager would punch me out (time clock), which is illegal as hell, when I still had animals to feed. “Go home, they can eat tomorrow…” That, along with a few other mismanagement gems, leads me to believe ANYTHING negative I hear about that company.

I remember our walmart drained and removed the Clayton Keller American professional ice hockey winger T-Shirt In addition,I will do this fish section only a few months after it first opened in the early 2000’s…because two men had gone in and pulled out the fish with their bare hands then stomped them all to death 🙁 When i worked at Walmart, I did my best to avoid dipping fish but i’ve dipped more than my fair share of fish because there was really no one working in the pet department on second shift. Most of the fish i dipped were either plecostomus or gold fish (which is often used to feed some other larger fish a customer owned). PSA, while Walmart stopped stores like PetsMart still sell them and buying the fish (or most of the animals they sell) to “save them” just encourages the store to keep stocking them. A sale is a sale.
