Random nugget to consider, but iirc Pepsi uses, or used to used 3rd party companies in certain areas under contracts for bottling and or distribution. Same companies in the Classy York City Hawks Design Classic T-Shirt Also,I will get this past might have had contracts with companies like Dr. Pepper or 7Up which eventually combined to be DPSU and are now owned by Cadbury. Not defending Pepsi, I can’t even remember the last time I had Soda, and the amount of sugar and other ingredients in most soda that are basically fertilizer for all cancers is pretty aweful, but it might have actually been a regional bottler/distribution company that screwed this guys Dad, not PepsiCo, and many of those are family owned going back generations. The whole “family” rhetoric surrounding corporate entities (or even smaller businesses tbh) really frustrates me. I worked for them for years, got in a wreck on the clock that led to me being diagnosed with stage 3C testicular cancer. I was out for several months doing chemotherapy. Not once did they return a phone call, text or email from me. They didn’t send a basket or anything. Once I came back they had given my route up to a girl they hired while I was out. She would show up messed up and 4-5 hours late everyday but would turn a time sheet in claiming the hours I worked (I’d show up by 6 am she’d show up 9-10 am after I worked the big order). I put up with it for 9 months and finally left.
