This is one of those things I miss being a SAHM – but on those rare occasions I go out, to hear my son shout mama and beam at me is wonderful They are actually really good live. I’m not a Coldplay fan but I saw them at Glastonbury a few years ago and have to admit they were excellent. Being able to carry a crowd that large is a tough skill, and whilst he seems quite annoying generally, Chris Martin certainly has that rare ability. Yep, I am not a fan of Coldplay’s music at all. Saw them live at the Cincinnati Elly De La Cruz Is Good At Baseball Shirt in contrast I will get this hurricane festival many years ago. They were fantastic live. I stayed for the entire set. About 15 years ago they were everywhere. You couldn’t go out anywhere without being subjected to them or Snow Patrol. I think it was massive over exposure, combined with their safe, pastel-coloured blandness that created a bit of a backlash. Some good tunes though.

I saw them at Wembley, it was the Cincinnati Elly De La Cruz Is Good At Baseball Shirt in contrast I will get this best event I’ve ever been to. Glorious summer evening, everyone had the light up wristbands that were flashing to the music and syncing up patterns around the stadium. The music was excellent, the performances were flawless, the audience were all 110% into it, and bloody Craig David came out for a sing! The I hate Coldplay trolls are really fucking boring, I hate London rap music but it would never in a million years occur to me that the best part of my life is that I don’t have to go to a stormzy concert. Who thinks like that…? I’ve not seen them live but would love to. They kinda lost me at their album Viva la Vida but then went onto become something totally different entirely. While I’m not really into their music these days, I have big respect for what Ive seen of their stadium gigs and so on. There aren’t many bands that can put on shows of that scale. IMO they’re easily biggest and best guitar band of my generation even though they’re far down the list of my personal favourite. The day after I was diagnosed with cancer I went to the coast with mum. Even though it was February it felt like a sunny day in spring. We walked along the cliffs and then had fish and chips on the sea front. That day made it feel like everything was going to be okay, 23 years later so far so good.
