A man who could afford fifty dollars had a pair of boots that’d still be keeping his feet dry in ten years’ time, while the poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent a hundred dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet. That’s about 5 miles a day 6 days a week. At my last job I averaged 6 or 7 miles a day without my running and I wore the same shoes for work every day. They lasted dang near 2 years for $120 maybe. I run 5-15km daily, periodic half marathons, and my $110ish shoes never even get as bad as the 2 month bad before I have to toss them because they’ve lost all their support. I did that in boot camp and it was mostly running and I still wore those shoes for another 6 months. OP’s shoes are crap

Yeah the Cincinnati Bengals professional American football logo T-Shirt and I love this worn out pair is what my shoes would look like after 3 months of skateboarding 5+ hours a day. I am in disbelief that this is the result of lots of running everyday like ??? how tf did a hole get in the center of the shoe??? Lol TBF I’ve gone through a pair of relatively high end shoes in 6 weeks before, it certainly is doable if you put enough miles on them. Yeah its about as cheap as i can buy, i know i should invest in something more solid but i don’t have the capital atm. And you’re wasting less material, and sending less to the landfill, and people are probably more comfortable, and best of all – hopefully that other manufacturer steps up their game or goes out of business. You can buy proper running shoes for a small price difference, not just sneaker style likes these with the crappy foam sole. You can buy a model or two back that might run you $5-10 more than these shoes you picked up. Look at Amazon for some Saucony Guide or Ride shoes for instance. If you buy a 15, you can get a pair for about $50, whereas the 16 is going to run $140 retail. Both the 15s and 16s going to last you 10x as long as these adidas you got, especially if you’re walking as your primary exercise.
