The topics are kind of batshit crazy though, like arguing whether Israel is justified in indiscriminately bombing Palestinians because Hamas were hiding. For one thing, I am a bisexual Queer man. I am one Supreme Court decision away from having all my civil rights voided just like when they overturned Roe v. Wade. Obergefell v. Hodges and Lawrence v. Texas are next on the Cincinnati Bengals Garfield Cat Grumpy Football Player 2024 shirt it is in the first place but chopping block. If you vote in a way that would lead to me being deprived of my civil rights, you are not my friend. You do not love me. You are not family to me. You are dead to me. If a terrorist who tried to overthrow the US government, who has raped women, who has stolen classified nuclear documents, who is running for president for the sole purpose of staying out of prison, who aligns with mask-off racists and fascists is not a 100% deal-breaker for you, then you are not a good person. I used to say you can still be a Republican and be basically a good person. I still somewhat believe that. But you cannot be MAGA and be a good person. So if you’re spitting out the MAGA talking points and wearing the MAGA gear and posting the MAGA memes, you’re a douchewad and a scumbag and I’ll have nothing to do with you.

I’m 38 and have noticed the Cincinnati Bengals Garfield Cat Grumpy Football Player 2024 shirt it is in the first place but same too. Social media is the problem so much of the time unfortunately. People are so polarised, but also much more extremist in their views, on both sides of the fence. Nuance is now seen as a bad thing. As a dog whistle for hidden bigotry. It’s so exhausting. Right. The attitude used to be “I’ll die for the right of another to say something I might not like.” Now we all bicker back and forth on devices literally powered by child slave labor as though somehow we are accomplishing greatness by tearing one a other to shreads. Humanity is a broken, cosmic joke. AFAIK it started in 1994 when Newt Gingrich decided that repugnicans should begin using harsher, more inflammatory, more divisive language in an effort to make u.s. politics more reflective of the values held by talking heads of the era, specifically Rush Limbaugh. I suspect this will peak at some point soon. It will slowly become like the home shopping network or other general advertising.
