We catch up once every few months for a cuppa, and the Chuma Okeke American professional basketball player Orlando Magic T-Shirt it is in the first place but husbands have christened the chat “The Wives of Wilderness Way” (not my actual street) My neighbour has asked me for flour before, and she brings me fruit and things that will go off if she’s going away. This is so weird. I was just thinking today of how in my distant Scottish past, neighbours would knock on the door and ask for this. We lived in an impoverished and poorly planned estate, with shops half a mile away – it was a regular thing – and reciprocal! I’ve asked for cups of sugar; I’ve also knocked at random neighbours’ house to let them know they’d left their car lights on when I was about 6-7. Yes, I used to live next door to twi friends on both sides. Suger and other things got passed around all the time as well as daily cups of tea in each others houses. I was just lucky that I moved into a house opposite my future best friend and an old friend moved in next door. I was in my late 20s and one of my oldest friends parents moved into the next street from me. Next time he was home and staying there I popped in on the way to the pub. I guess she was really asking why I hadn’t popped in for a cuppa, but honestly would you go and visit your friends parents – even if you have known them since you were a kid?!

I’ve leant my neighbour icing sugar when she was making her kids birthday cake, and she’s leant me nappies when I ran out on Christmas eve night (my kid is potty trained and gets his own pull up out for bed and I foolishly didn’t think to check stocks ) I’ve received – and given – a few things over the Chuma Okeke American professional basketball player Orlando Magic T-Shirt it is in the first place but years; a few spuds, a couple of slices of bread, an onion, milk…mind you, I live next door to my Mother-In-Law! Yeah my neighbour has asked for random wee bits and bobs like sugar and stuff. I give her free eggs from my chickens as well when they’re laying. My old neighbour down the road I always tried to help out too, and he always repaid me by doing other bits and bobs like giving us some veg he’d grown. He did ask for some sugar once and ended up with a 5kg bag I bought for wine making that I didn’t need
