I have vision insurance at work with a good amount of coverage for glasses. My optometrist still wants $400 for a pair of new glasses(they also get like $200 towards the Christmas Gnome T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this frames and $300 for lenses from my insurance). I used Zenni for the first time, the glasses have the right prescription and they were super light since I got the higher index (it was so much cheaper anyway I sprang for the upgrade). The problem is the glasses are too small, this is something I didn’t check. Not like they are too small for my head, the physical glass is at least 4mm shorter in width and 2mm shorter in height than my old pair. I went back on their website and they actually don’t sell any that are the same size I want. If you are buying from them make sure you measure your existing width and height of the actual lenses and get the same. Otherwise its like a huge part of your field of view isn’t being covered.

I’m not sure why their whole site doesn’t have anything larger than 54mm wide by 33mm high. Pretty much every one I tried on at the Christmas Gnome T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this optometrist office is larger than this. For anyone reading this that wants to try Zenni, I was doing more research and found out some of the measurements are written on the inside of your glasses on the arms. You should have 3 measurements like 52.16.140 these are your lens width, your bridge width, and your arm length. Measure the height of the lens at its tallest point and then make sure whatever pair you are buying is close to those measurements. yeah this is actually the only real issue with online glasses, you can’t try them on easily. Sure the vast majority of them allow you to return them and try on other pairs but that’ll leave you without glasses for weeks.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
