Honestly 67k is not terrible for new grad right now. Like other people have said, unless you have constant interviews rolling in and are confident in getting a better offer just take it for now. 2 years ago I got a new grad position at 70k where they cost adjusted me to 85k. I got an offer recently where they offered me 62k in a HCOL downtown area, and I’m in currently in interviews where they are looking to pay ~70-80k for 2 yoe which is kinda crazy to think about what tech salaries commanded 2 years ago. Also 67k is enough to live comfortably coming out of college so I wouldnt stress too much on salary if you need the experience. do u think that this job market, for new grads in particular, is something that is temporary? i graduate next August and all this talk about limited options for new grads isnt the most fun to read lol

I don’t think I have enough yoe to have a strong opinion but personally I don’t see how it’ll get easier unless people stop coming into tech within the Christmas Borrowed Traditions Happy Cultural Appropriation Day shirt Also,I will get this next 5ish years. Honestly as new grads one of the best jobs you can get are new grad rotational roles or specific new grad roles; you are only competing with other new grads I just started at this same salary. Tho not in the bay area so I’m getting by, kind of. Praying in a couple years I get rewarded for the experience and I have a great manager who has been an awesome mentor, which has its own value. My manager was on and off ok, as in.. he was kinda of a dick sometimes. But overall it turned out good for me and after a few years I started to get paid more appropriately but still on the lower end. In my case I’m in mainframe and although I don’t regret it at all, I find it super hard to get a job that pays what other platforms offer. Anyhow.. I’d say there’s many paths to success in terms of higher pay and branching out. For me, I have no degree and this was my path I ended up in. It’s great that your manager is a good mentor, definitely take full advantage of the opportunity you’re in and learn learn learn.
