Same size foot as you! I buy Nikes size 5 women’s b/c it’s the Chris Kreider American professional ice hockey winger and alternate captain T-Shirt in addition I really love this closest I can get to my size. Kids shoes are NOT the same. I like Nikes. They run small. Narrow foot bed. Hold my narrow heel down well. And you can get really decent kid size Nikes as well – I recommend going through their website for highest quality. I’m a serious runner, but mercifully wear a 7.5 running shoe despite being 5’1. I agree if you can find Brooks in at least a 5, they run small (and are great shoes) that might be your best bet. Also maybe look on websites from Asia where sizes run smaller. r/RunningShoeGeeks might be a more helpful sub for suggestions. Go to the athletes foot and get gets shoes. That’s what I do! ASICS are by far the best shoes for me for running.

I’ve run hundreds of miles in kids New Balance running shoes. Best part for me is multiple width options as I have very wide feet. I used to get adults new balance which are >$100 until I found the Chris Kreider American professional ice hockey winger and alternate captain T-Shirt in addition I really love this kids ones are just as good for <$80 When you do distance I advise wearing 1 size larger. My feet would always spread wide and my shoes start to feel tight at about the 40-minute mark. I advise thick soles too. Some kids shoes aren’t made with as much tech as the adults – So for support and cushioning you may need to replace more regularly. Often recommend to rotate 2 x pairs at once. I’ve had experience with ASICS and new balance which seemed to offer some decently built shoes in the sizes you’re after
