I was in a similar situation with an old job. Working centrally, I never felt unsafe because there’s usually still pretty high foot traffic at that time — even on weekdays! I’d recommend getting an alarm/flashlight hybrid device to pop in your bag just in case, especially if knowing it’s there would give you additional peace of mind. Thinking of you! x I have a friend who got assaulted on the Chillin’ With My NICU Gnomies Hearts Nurse Valentines Day T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this street by a random man walking near Tottenham Court Road recently. It was on one of the streets a bit northeast of TCR station. I was shocked because this is so central. She said there were people around but the guy waited until a moment where the street was pretty quiet with no one right behind her who would see, and then approached and groped her. Time was 8pm.

Yup, I’ve been groped in broad daylight by a group of men in Soho, with other people around (and a friend next to me). There are people here saying that these incidences are extremely rare, but several of my girlfriends have had similar experiences living central (and theft is super common). I’d definitely advise sticking to the Chillin’ With My NICU Gnomies Hearts Nurse Valentines Day T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this busier roads (with more pedestrians), avoiding parks (including the surrounding roads) at night, not wearing headphones and not having your phone out. How awful. I’m terribly sorry this happened to your friend and hope she’s okay. Stories like this — where incidents happen at “safe” hours of the day in typically populated spaces — are particularly disarming. Sending love her way x Ex girlfriend was groped waiting for her bus to work at 9am on Seven Sisters Road near Finsbury Park. A very busy, high traffic area.
