There has been many instances where they just didn’t show up because “I’m in the wrong head space.” Or “I’m too tired and can’t make it.” My favorite is “My tummy is off.” “Well, why and do you still meet the check in for work?” “Umm … yeah I ate and I don’t have fever or anything but, my tummy hurts.” We recently had a young woman who was going through veterinary school. You would think that because of her schooling she should have common sense. Nope. I asked were she lived and where she’s from, when she first started, blank stare. “Umm with my boyfriend.” WTF Other situations happened and she wasn’t teachable and consistently messed up and didn’t understand why. Long story short. I will never take my fur babies to her. She’s a sweet girl but, would walk into a wall for fun. Unfortunately, the world is not ready for this but, they need to be. Or F’Ing retire ASAP.
