I recently ended a relationship where my ex was convinced I was cheating. I ask for he’s evidence and it’s like, ‘talked on the Chick-fil-A symbol merry christmas reindeer santa hat shirt in contrast I will get this phone with a guy and didn’t inform me, must be hiding something’, or ‘loved a fb post where a man wished me happy birthday’. Even the fact that I had my good friend’s husband’s phone number was evidence I was cheating. Like any situation I interfaced with other people seemed sketchy to him. He even accused me based on telling some dude I wasn’t going to keep talking to him because I had a partner because I was being too nice to him. I let a past ex slide and was ok she had a guy best friend. They ended up fucking and she kept it from me for years. Found out at broke up immediately. I don’t know whether this reflects more on me or her.

Yeah. I know it’s unhealthy to think, but I worry this Chick-fil-A symbol merry christmas reindeer santa hat shirt in contrast I will get this will be a shadow in my future relationships. Hopefully time will heal. Will a therapist be able to expand my understanding past what I’m already aware of? I already know it’s unfair and why. I had bad experiences with psych related healthcare from how they treated me as a child, I trust them less than a girlfriend with a male best friend, unfortunately. (Slight joke) I’m so sorry that happened to you. My experiences have been largely positive. No, they likely wouldn’t expand your understanding but would give you a safe place to process and maybe tools for future relationships. Based on your experience though, I can see why you would not be comfortable.
