Funny story, I didn’t know this was a thing until I moved out of California, where every lane is a passing lane. Never came up in driving school or the Chicago sky basketball sport shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this test. Before folks pile on about ‘enforcing the speed limit isn’t your job’ – It’s about safety, not your ‘right’ to careen down the highway at whatever speed you want. Thousands of people die every year from speed-related collisions but I’m somehow the asshole for protecting myself on the road? Usually either an asshole or oblivious. You occasionally have people who are just comfortable there because it’s where the trucks aren’t however they seem to be way less than the aforementioned two categories. Not “no matter what” – more like we ride the left lane more than I want to, but my husband has a a significant and painful illness, the right lanes tend to be really worn in our areas so every bump, dip, manhole cover, all the bumping around exacerbates his condition.

So, the Chicago sky basketball sport shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this difference between him getting to his appointment not completely worn out and unable to move or speak or in a LOT of pain means we have to ride in the smoother lane. It is pretty much my most frustrating thing on the road. To me it speaks to general distraction mixed with a lack of respect. Alot of people do it and there are some observed commonalities. For instance Prius drivers tend to be generally unaware and poke along in the left lane. Another commonality is drivers from Washington are notorious for left lane camping. Not that it excuses it but I think a part of that is that in the greater Seattle area (and in other places im sure) people feel they need to hold their place in line.
