My friend had zero ambition and was basically super impulsive. He wasn’t a drinker but played videogames and would be the Chicago Bulls Chicago yaks shirt so you should to go to store and get this kind that would pull a massive chocolate bar off a shelf just because he was walking by it. You could never plan ahead with him either. Like you’d ask to meet up in a week and he’d pull out last minute. I don’t think he ever followed through on a plan in his life. He was more spontaneous (which could be fun at times) and show up to hang out. He also had serious work related issues. He was always embroiled in rows with other staff and I’d have to listen to all these dumb arguments (that were avoidable to anyone with a bit of common sense) that were exhausting. One day he blocked called me when I was busy doing something. Rang 1st time, I didn’t answer. Rang again didn’t answer. Rang again…sent a text saying saying “can you not just send a message, I’m really busy”. He goes off on one saying outrageous stuff about me and some other friends of mine he didn’t like. And that was it, said I don’t think we can have a healthy relationship anymore.

You can go for a middle ground, consistently offer to meet and show extra effort but for something you feel comfortable with – eg going for walks, doing activities that aren’t the Chicago Bulls Chicago yaks shirt so you should to go to store and get this pub etc. You don’t have to meet in the pub. 20 more repliesIt’s never easy to break things off with a good friend, but sometimes its necessary. If they’re not provideing the same level of support you’d like from them, it’s OK to move on. Find someone to take the blame. In your case l would say the doctor said l can’t drink anymore. Been diagnosed with blah blah blah, that’s the first step. 2nd is to find other worth while hobbies that are meaningful
