So, bear in mind, I am not from one of the Chicago Blackhawks United Center Chicago Il Feb 25 2024 shirt besides I will buy this big cities in the UK. About the furthest thing away from. Where I live, electricity is still sometimes eyed suspiciously as witchcraft, in the smallest towns everyone is related (and banging), and if there’s a particularly gnarly storm whole-ass villages get washed into the sea. We didn’t have a KFC until 2014. We’ve got cows, we’ve got fish, and we’ve got cheese wrapped in stinging nettles. Consequently, my options for sweets have consisted of ‘Tesco Pick-n-Mix’ or if I’m feeling very adventurous, a slice of cake from a café that I’m pretty sure has been open since they signed the Magna Carta. Cadbury’s from the petrol station is also an option (as for some reason, is foot-long, lukewarm hotdogs in a floppy bun and coffee that tastes like it was scraped out of Peter Griffin’s bumcrack after a five-mile jog). My palate, shall we say, is limited.

Except, in town, holy Willy Wonka in budgie-smugglers, wonder-of-wonders, an American candy store has appeared from literally nowhere. In the Chicago Blackhawks United Center Chicago Il Feb 25 2024 shirt besides I will buy this absolute arse-end of England, none too far from places named things like ‘Upper Knickerbocker’ and ‘West Bollock-on-Sea,’ a shimmering, hot-pink, bursting-at-the-seams American candy store. And it has everything. Wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling pick-n-mix of sweets I’ve never even heard of, much less seen. Whole shelves devoted to every possible permutation of peanut butter. Spinning stands of lollipops and fizzy laces that look like Cthulhu went for a glitter manicure. Kit-Kats with flavours like ‘Sparkling Midlife Depression’ and ‘Divorced Uncle’s Bar Mitzvah.’ Tootsie rolls and Twinkies and weird sour, luminous-green things that I’m fairly sure are actually radioactive. It’s like fuckin’ Honeyduke’s from Harry Potter just set up shop in my hometown.
