I met one for a quick drink (half an hour) and we arranged a date then got ghosted. Another one we arranged for dates and there was always an excuse. Then no contact. Maybe you’ll find one who appreciates your Warhammer army, fwiw I think your paint jobs are really nice. Not a Wargamer but I paint board game minis I have been single for a long time. I would like to get into a serious relationship and settle down. I really would. However, I have been on my own for so log, I fear I have come to enjoy it. I get lonely a lot. But when an opportunity comes to meet someone, I never put much work into it because I have become so accustomed to my own company. Big hugs back to you. I’m 40 next year, been single nearly 11 years, but not really in a place in life/with myself where I can or want to do anything about it. I was so relieved to get out of my last LTR that I can’t imagine not having that freedom now, but I do also crave the Chevelle La Gargola Poster Shirt but in fact I love this companionship and cuddles so it’s a no-win but hey ho.

Chevelle La Gargola Poster Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Lonely a lot of the Chevelle La Gargola Poster Shirt but in fact I love this time, I don’t think I want a relationship yet, but I do miss coming home to someone there instead of the silence. I’m over weight and depressed, I feel like I’d be alot to put on another person. I’ve got most of my life in order, and I’m grateful for that but it doesn’t really fill the gap. Now I’m approaching the point at which children are probably no longer an option (I don’t think I’d want them but I’d prefer to actually get to make the choice) and I’ve realised this is it for my life it’s starting to hurt again. Once I got my shit together, mentally recovered, got a good job, my own place, became happy within myself, did a lot of self-work addressing toxic traits, I started attracting people. Some dates here and there, hook ups, and have had a FWB for the last 3 years. Still single, and can barely muster the energy to consider a serious relationship. Generally happy, sometimes get bored, but I can go see my best mate and play with her fleet of wolfhounds if I want. Life is good; big bed to myself, eat when and what I want, all the free time after work to focus on hobbies, and I rarely get lonely. Being completely self-sufficient after over a decade of crippling depression and anxiety is a source of great pride.
