So… be scared and do it anyway. Focus on the people who make your life better, and reject those who make it worse. You’re worth it, always have been always will be, to put yourself first in your own life. Kindness to yourself first for sure. Go have fun! No one worth your/mine/any other encouraging commenter’s time cares at all. I’m 6’1 295-300 and I’ve basically said screw it. Any time there’s a pool or I go to the beach I just let it out. If they didn’t care, they wouldn’t bother wearing a shirt in the first place. Incorrect. I wear a shirt in the pool because I get sunburned in like 15 seconds. I never care what anyone thinks. This is true for many. The sun has been trying to murder me since I was a baby. Sunscreen used to be useless in the pool and only like 15 spf. Had to wear a shirt. No big deal. And trust me, skin cancer sucks a lot more than what some shallow idiot thinks about you. Go ahead and wear a shirt. Yep, you get actual blisters on your back one time, and from then on, it’s nope. People who can tan don’t know what it’s like.
