My wife once paid an extra month of rent when we were moving out. The landlord pressured her by lying and saying that we never paid first and last, so we owed one more month of rent. I wasn’t home, and I was working at a factory so she couldn’t call me during the Chase Claypool Signature Football Player For Chicago Cartoon T-Shirt but in fact I love this day. He was being really aggressive and she doesn’t do well with confrontations, so she buckled and wrote him a cheque for last month’s rent. He told her that if he was wrong about us not owing last month’s rent, he would mail the cheque back to us. Of course, he was lying: he deposited it immediately. And the cost of suing him would have probably been higher than the rent cheque, so he won, and we lost. I initially reacted badly, and made her feel stupid for getting tricked like that. But the villain here was the landlord, not her, and I apologized for getting upset. Losing one grand isn’t the end of the world.

I don’t do well w confrontation either. I’m very small and very shy lol. I probably would’ve done the Chase Claypool Signature Football Player For Chicago Cartoon T-Shirt but in fact I love this same thing. I like that you were able to realize your mistake attacking her altho I can also see why you were initially upset at her. But you’re right the villain is the lying pos who put your wife in that position. I genuinely hope he gets his karma one day. Cars are ridiculously expensive. It’s almost like they are intentionally manufacturing these cars to have expensive repairs. I understand why alimony exists but man I would feel bitter paying that much every month, that’s more than most mortgage payments in my area. Are you bitter about it or do you feel like it’s reasonable given the circumstances?
