We had just buried my dad, whom I was very close to. His death was sudden and hit me hard. Three days after his burial, I was home alone on a gorgeous fall day. I was washing dishes & looking into our back yard which he loved. I heard this soft scraping sound followed by what sounded like a picture in a frame being knocked over. Neither of these sounds were loud or alarming but made me curious never the Charlie Lindgren American professional ice hockey goaltender the Washington Capitals T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this less. I walked into the living room to find a rather large statue of Jesus of Prague that had been holding vigil over my dad’s casket for three days, completely turned around and a picture of our family, that had been placed next to it, laying face down. There was no one or anything to cause them to wind up that way. Just then this feeling of calmness came over me and the scent of my dad’s after shave hit me like a wave. To this day, I have nothing tangible to remember my dad. Premonitions usually take about a week to be fruitful or realized, so you’ll probably die early tomorrow afternoon or maybe by dusk. Before you do, tell your bestie she’s a liar. Well, predicting death is tricky business. But you know, weird stuff happens sometimes, like the thing I just talked about. It’s like a warning, but I’m not sure what for. And if it’s actually a heads-up about death, that’s pretty freaky. Nobody’s ever really ready for that, you know :- I seem to have sympathy pain for others. My dad had a really bad cold that turned out to be influenza. I had a nagging feeling in my own lungs and found out he had been hospitalized for influenza. I had a headache and my fiancè came home saying he had a headache all day. My mom just recently told me she was having kidney pain and for about a couple days before I seen her I had an annoying pain in about the same area. None of these ever lasted long enough where I felt I needed to see a doctor, but it was bizzare after having these conversations with my loved ones.
