I used to try really hard to be friends with my best friend’s girlfriends. Some of them were more open to it, some were not. I told my buddy way back it was weird to me to only be close with him but not his girlfriend, no issues where it counted. Only thing I find odd is that your friend gave out your number without asking you first. A simple message from her saying “Hey, my fiancé wants your number so he can get to know you better since he knows you’re important to me” would’ve avoided any awkwardness.
