You probably dashed in the Charlie Brown and Snoopy Pittsburgh Sport Team shirt it is in the first place but 60s for $30 an hour . Right now they are so many dashers what do you think will happen. Some are getting desperate. I was eating at a popular casual breakfast place on Mother’s Day. Our seat was kind of close to the host area. There were many DoorDash drivers pacing around my table in the restaurant. Dressed much worse than casual. Wearing backpacks and looking super annoyed picking up the food. They just didn’t seem to give a crap about the vibe of the restaurant. It made me understand why some restaurants refuse to work with delivery apps. If it weren’t for the DoorDash drivers I would have liked the seat fine. Right now I’m sitting at a restaurant watching a doordash guy stand right in front of pickup waiting for his order and blocking every other customer as he watches tiktoks at max volume on his phone- oh its a sports game now. This scene is not unusual or surprising at all to me. That’s what happened it’s become a worse job due to oversaturation because anyone can do it, filtering the worst people into the job.

selection bias where the Charlie Brown and Snoopy Pittsburgh Sport Team shirt it is in the first place but vast minority of an ever increasing amount of interactions are truly this bad but are all you hear about In the smaller town I DD in it’s still like that. Almost everyone is nice and tip well, especially if you give them updates etc. However the “bigger” city that I also DD in is not quite as nice but still good. The trade off is that the city is busier a lot more often but in the smaller town the people are nicer and tip better. The driving is also a lot easier and less stressful. (All the restaurants are on one street) I used to work in the service industry, stopped about 5 years back. Let me level with you, homie, no door dash driver I’ve ever had to deal with treated me with respect. It’s always been the same bullshit from you guys since the app was born. Maybe you were a good one, but 99% of the dashers have always been absolutely horrid to work with. Most never knew what order they had, or they didn’t know the name on the order, and then would yell at us for not being able to help them. I’ll give you one thing, though, you were never as bad as Mr. Delivery- we banned them from ordering through our restaurants due to them fucking up almost every order they put in and us getting fucked on reviews because of it.
