If you cannot afford to keep the Charli XCX 90’s Vintage shirt but in fact I love this AC on 24/7 and never need to take public transport, then Kolkata is an awful place to live in simply because of how humid it is. Especially now. The heat keeps getting worse every year and you get to enjoy a mild window of good weather. I went back home this June and could not even breathe properly because the humidity felt so heavy. Fell sick four times and had to survive on the most bland food imaginable because my body refused to digest or consume anything else in the weather. Most people I know who actively like living in Kolkata are financially well off to the point that they can afford to keep the AC on at all times in several rooms or have centralized air conditioning. I am very glad I live away now, especially because I don’t have to pay an organ’s worth of an electricity bill.

Charli XCX 90’s Vintage shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Kolkata has always had awful weather for like 8-9 out of 12 months but it just keeps getting so much worse every year. I have no idea how people will survive. It is hard to even do one thing without feeling immensely exhausted. It’s like the Charli XCX 90’s Vintage shirt but in fact I love this environment sucks the soul out of you. Our ancestors used to refer to intense summer rains as ‘kalboishakhi’, which basically destroyed crops. So, the ‘kal’ in the name refers to an unfortunate monsoon. Nowadays, people literally wait for kalboishakhi because the weather is that bad. Unfortunately, if it does not rain consistently, things get even more humid. On top of that, mornings are hot af but post sunset, it gets even worse. It gets even more humid without the sunlight to cause at least some evaporation from moisture in the air.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
