Sorcery is really underwhelming. I did a dex/faith build and absolutely LOVED how many different incantations I could use. So much variety, and lots of unique animations/effects. I was constantly swapping out incantations and experimenting. Probably the Championship Vinyl Chicago Retro Shirt moreover I love this most fun I’ve had in the game so far. That shit is boring ? Most spells are the same two or three colors, most spells are just slightly better versions of other spells, and none of them are as exciting or unique as most incantations. Playing alongside 3 other friends, it was wild to hear each other talk about what side-quests and characters we each found on our own with no guide. It really helps shape your adventure rather than become a waypoint chasing system (whether it’s an in-game waypoint or a wiki guide). Do the waypoint chasing another time. Just let the game talk to you as it is the very first time because you won’t get that again.

Sorcery has always been overpowered compared to the Championship Vinyl Chicago Retro Shirt moreover I love this other builds and has only been buffed since, playing a mage is easy mode The storytelling is just really bad. It feels more like a handful of ideas scribbled on napkins than an actually fleshed out story. And like the napkins were just dumped from a box onto my desk with a fan blowing and I have to put them in order to give them to my boss. Roderika is a better waifu than both the random lady who appears at like two points in the game, and the animated smurf doll. Sorcery is more powerful than incantations, but is a boring one-trick pony compared to the tons of different and unique incantations. Katanas being overpowered isn’t even the issue I have with them. Why the hell are there so many Samurai in this European-themed game? Some Bosses healing to full health for their second phase is an annoying design decision, it just makes me feel like I haven’t actually made any progress. She’s not even at the hub. She only briefly appears at a few specific graces & very end of game as optional summon Magic deserves to be so powerful in elden ring. Us wizards have suffered the reign of melee users for every previous installment.
