Dropped a slice,of thickly buttered toast yesterday morning. Luckily it landed on the Cat Let Me Pour You A Tall Glass Get Over It And Here’s Straw shirt in contrast I will get this cat rather than hit the floor. Butter side down obviously. Dog enjoyed it as he got a tasty cat. Cat enjoyed it as he got a free dog groom. It was two weeks until payday and I’m absolutely broke, had some car troubles, a larger credit card bill and some other unexpected and expensive expenses come out this month. Was trying to do the maths and figure out how to make do for two weeks when I checked my email and saw I’ve won £50 from my premium bonds. Absolute lifesaver. Went to a football match and noticed in the pub afterwards my gold bangle was gone. I was devasted as my partner had bought it for me and I never take it off. Called the ground the next day and someone had handed it in! In a stadium of around 30k people I think that’s pretty lucky. Would love to have said thank you to the kind honest person! I used to be a season ticket holder but hadn’t been for a few years. Me and my sister decided to go to a match a couple of weeks ago. She bought the tickets for the Kop one block over and further back from where we used to sit.

Did the online form thing, got a call within an hour offering an appointment in 15 mins. Was not expecting that. And no, her leg wasn’t falling off or anything obviously urgent. Just an unexpectedly great service. I’d been for lunch with a friend. We’d been waiting outside the cafe in central London for a taxi. Get in the taxi and about 20 minutes later my phone rings. It’s the bank. I’ve left my purse on a table outside the cafe. The finder has it at his work and I can go back to get it.
