I think something people in open relationships don’t mention enough is that jealousy is such a natural and often unavoidable human emotion. Especially if your relationship started off as monogamous. But the Captain holt it is christmas I am ecstatic brooklyn nine nine classic shirt Apart from…,I will love this emotion isn’t the problem, it’s what you and your partner do with it that’s the problem. If you acknowledge that you’re feeling jealous of a person/situation, and talk about it responsively it can work out. Open relationships do cause problems, in the same way that any other part of a relationship can. I fell deeply in love with another guy at one point and I had to change my relationship with him because I didn’t want to hurt my partner. That really hurt, but 2 years later he’s my best friend and had a great time at our wedding. We still occasionally fuck but we both realised that we’d gone too far on the emotional axis and needed to reconfigure things.

It’s also really easy to fuck up when you’re not monogamous for the Captain holt it is christmas I am ecstatic brooklyn nine nine classic shirt Apart from…,I will love this first time – the freedom is fun, and exciting. But in my experience sex can be just sex but often people are bringing a lot of themselves to the table (or bed?) and it can be really, really easy to form an emotional bond. Obviously this can be a problem for you and your partner, but it can also be a problem for someone you’re sleeping with. If you’re in an open relationship you have responsibilities to the people you’re fucking too—if they’re single, for instance, you need to check in, make sure you’re not taking things too far or too fast etc. For you it might be the freedom to fuck around and have fun, but maybe that’s not how they feel and it’s irresponsible not to appreciate that.
