Recently I stumbled into the Capitola California est.1949 retro palms tree T-Shirt In addition,I will do this hobby of speedcubing. In a Discord server I helped someone out with choosing a timer (used for speedcubing) and got some praise for my elaborate/clear “answer”. This prompted me into making a video for it, and start a speedcubing channel. The topic gives me room to play around with how much time I spend on each video. Busy month? Just some simple solving stuff (eg. online competition). More time? I can make tutorials, give advice, try solving complex weird cubes, etc. I can both help people out, hopefully entertain them and just have fun myself. And catching my solves on videos will have the extra benefit of me being able to go back and see my progress 🙂 A bad break up and depression, combined with being inspired by the positive a handful of creators were able to do.

Creepy things like old ghost videos and stories from when youtube first started have always fascinated me so I decided to start my own channel. I’ve always liked making music, and decided that creating songs and making videos for them would allow me to develop various skills as well as get my songs heard by people beyond my social group and maybe grow an audience. It’s great seeing people’s reaction to my work but I’m still struggling to grow, likely because each video takes a long time to make. I had wanted to stream on Twitch for a long time, their discoverability and treatment of creators kind of dissuaded me, a buddy of mine said I should try on YouTube and have had moderate success. Two months in and I just hit 50 subs
