I could barely hold a job at a deli at 21. This kid seems to have genuine talent it sucks we have these bullshit laws. Kid should be running like a factory or something I’ve grown psychedelics before, albeit in MUCH smaller quantities. It’s not an extremely difficult process, and it can be very lucrative if you know people who will buy it. I only ever grew for myself, but I can see how it would be tempting for somebody to start a production like this at large scale. Once you have a bit of mycelium cake going, it’s basically infinite mushrooms for free. All you need is a semi-sterile environment and a bit of patience. The way the Can’t fucking pick committee shirt and I love this guy in the article was growing psychedelic mushrooms is pretty much how they grow mushrooms for commercial food products. Big bags of substrate (hay, soil, worm castings, grains, seeds, wood chips) stored on shelves. Anybody could get this level of production going in under a year if they had the space and the social circles to push the product. It’s not that what he did was overly impressive or talented, it was just ballsy. I bet he showed some people he thought were friends and somebody sold him out for one reason or another.

The thing I am wondering about currently is how the Can’t fucking pick committee shirt and I love this police handled this situation… in the photos they put all of the bags on the lawn outside to show the excessive amount of product. if any of those bags were disturbed roughly and had a tear in them, they would have dropped spore and the lawn is now covered in psychedelic spore. It is likely that the lawns in the area are about to start seeing some quality psychedelic growth Dude had racks setup along with equipment for drying them, etc. which means he thought it out, planned how the operation would work, and either went online or to the store and bought all the things he’d need (racks, etc). THEN the dude assembled everything and got the whole operation to near assembly line status. Meanwhile I’m 41 and it took me two months and tons of begging and bitching to get me to setup a swing set for people I love lol
