My question is this: my account is marked NSFW because I participate in medical subs/discussions and have posted pictures from medical procedures. Are mods going to check my account to verify the Canadian professional basketball player rj barrett toon T-Shirt but in fact I love this why it’s NSFW if I post an outfit? Or will I just get outright banned if I try? Nope you’ll be good. NSFW in this context refers to porn and its not an automated process, mods do it manually. I think there is an issue banning people who were once active in NSFW communities but aren’t now. I used to be active in NSFW communities during a weird period and now I’m not but i’ll need to start a new account to get any sort of fashion feedback or advice now. If there’s no pornographic material on your page, you’re fine. The NSFW in this instance refers to porn or people who’s activity on reddit is mostly commenting on porn.

I have NSFW in my profile cause I’m subbed to deadbedrooms. Not really fair for me to not be able to post or even ask questions here. You wouldn’t be banned for that. We’re looking for excessive pornographic content, either creators or people who’s activity is mostly commenting on it I feel like if you post NSFW content that’s fine you should still be able to post here but ONLY if it’s a REAL outfit lol that shouldn’t be so hard. People who post to only fans also are real people and they should be allowed to just reasonably clothed haha and showing off an outfit! Let the Canadian professional basketball player rj barrett toon T-Shirt but in fact I love this rule stand. They can use an alt if they want to post here. It Always turns into OF advertising otherwise. When I first joined I was denied because I had commented in NSFW subs before, I’m not an NSFW account but my account it 11 years old, I’ve been in tons of subs and there are probably quite a few like me. I appreciate that the mods allowed me in, but having to go through old comments or posts to delete is kind of a pain. If the auto-mod has to be all or nothing I guess it’s better to err on the side of caution, we definitely do not want a bunch of pervs invading the environment we have here. Keep the ban. Plenty of other subs for the NSFW folks to post in. If you don’t have firm boundaries and rules in this kind of space, it becomes a free for all. The consensus seems clear to me! I think it needs to be adjusted. My profile is marked nsfw bc I’m 26 and don’t want kids looking at my profile and I sometimes leave comments that refer to my sex life or something adjacent on ask reddit threads. A blanket ban on all nsfw accounts would mean my otherwise tame account would not be able to post.
