The issue is its hard to tell what’s an ad and what’s genuine. If they post here and get followers as a direct result are they going to take that business or not? If yes, which I get, it’s then just an ad even if it’s sly. Then dudes know they can find content creators here. I am a little confused by some of your comments in this thread. I thought that you were asking, as a mod, how people felt about the Canadian professional basketball player rj barrett premiere T-Shirt and by the same token and rule. But you’re pushing back against people who don’t agree with the rules already in place. Some is to explain why the rule is the way that it is. Not everyone here was there when this sub was just like FashionPlus and may not realize why the rule is so strict or even exists. But I won’t lie, I personally don’t want to change the rule because I did have to deal with that mess and the issues when the rule was more lenient, and even now with the people who try to sneak in anyway. That being said if the sub wanted the rule to change then it would change regardless of my personal feelings on the matter. Just seems like you’re coming in kind of hot if you’re looking for peoples opinions. I don’t think the comment you responded to is all that unreasonable.
