I’m just really selfish, I love my free time and hobbies and I don’t want them to be ruined for me by having a kid. Everything. Been pregnant sounds absouletly terrifying. Babies scare me like how would I know what it wants ? What if I drop them? I have 0 savings and live paycheck to paycheck atm having a child would make than worse and I wouldn’t want a child to go without/struggle or have to move from house to house etc Being a female, I know motherhood will wreck my body, it will perhaps cause me repurcussions in my career and I have seen my mom being the bread winner of the family, working a full time job, looking after me and the family, and how everyone’s not thinking twice before complaining or be disappointed because their heap of expectations weren’t met exactly. It just feels so bad to see her go through all this that I puke at the idea of having a kid. Also your kids will be an emotional burden for you since the day an embryo is formed and until the day YOU die. So, it’s the most pointless expenditure and endeavour.

Edit: My father is a wonderful dad. He left his job to take care of me as mom’s job was more secure and had better pay. I’m not very tolerant of loud, unnecessary noise, and just people being needy and stubborn so a child would absolutely be the worst possible thing, i could think of, to have. And that’s assuming i even want a wife. Taking care of another individual and having full responsibility over their actions until they hit 18. There are chances that this person is gonna have issues, that they won’t find a job (also given the current situation and how inflation is going, kids are a liability on all fronts) so you’d have to take care of them way past 18 in any case (college, helping with expenses etc.). Money doesn’t grow on trees and even with a salary increase over time, sustaining a kid is too much money, and it’ll be even more expensive the more time passes. More time and money for myself in general, also more freedom to travel and not being forced to settle down for their stability. Having a kid in 2022 is a joke lol
