I would assume he is similarly aged to your friend and is trying to create a friendship/relationship with a strong part of his fiancee’s support/social circle. Especially if you are senior in the Cam Leiter National Pitcher of the week poster shirt in addition I really love this same industry. Sounds like he is looking to you maybe as a bit of a mentor? It seems to me your friend (his fiancé) must speak very highly of you and probably talks about you as if you are an extremely large part of her life. Perhaps seeing you as an older sister or aunt figure? So if you are important to her he may want to be in your good graces and intern are important to him. Something you can do is maybe start a group thread between the 3 of you? Then you can all start to have your own inside jokes etc as well as making the friendships transparent to everyone.

So you work in the Cam Leiter National Pitcher of the week poster shirt in addition I really love this same field for different companies? Is it at all possible he wants you as a professional contact and he is only innocently networking? Possibly you are more senior than him and he hopes your company might have open positions now or in the future. I think you have a crush on him if you’re bringing this up. Jk. But really, thinking it might be weird is your own brain thinking YOU are doing something wrong because maybe subconsciously you imagine what this could lead to. This is just a baseless theory but psychology is very interesting I will occasionally snap or text my fiances best gf. I’m 30m. She’s considered our sons aunty, so I guess it’s different..? But anyway, I will send her snaps of my boy and I playing or of all three of us if my wife doesn’t have her phone. Younger people are much less weird about opposite gender friendships (although I’m a bit older than you and don’t understand your issue with it).
