It’s all accurate for the Calvin And Hobbes Merry Christmas comic strip created by cartoonist T-Shirt and I love this most part, but digestive systems vary like crazy from person to person. My sister can eat a 5mg gummy and end up crying in the corner. Another friend of mine can eat 700mg and be completely sober, but 3 hits from a bowl will knock him flat. Basically from what I understand the amount stated on the packaging is an average. Say the package says 10 pieces for a total of 50 mg, or 5 mg/piece. But the way they are produced, they can’t fully control an even distribution. So half of them may be 2.5 mg/piece, and half of them 7.5 mg/piece. I’m sure certain brands go to greater lengths to keep the dosage consistent, but I think this is a fair rule of thumb. If you live in a state with legal weed then dosages at dispensaries should be regulated and after a little trial and error you’ll know what dose works for you and what doesn’t. I eat an edible once a month at most and know that 5 mg barely affects me, 10 makes me nice and relaxed and 30 means I’m going to be out of it for a few hours. I live in a state where it’s regulated and edible dose’s seem to be hit and miss. Sometimes 10mg will make me incredibly high and other times I barely notice.

This exactly. You just need to get the Calvin And Hobbes Merry Christmas comic strip created by cartoonist T-Shirt and I love this feel for how much a mg will affect you. It takes some time to learn whats best for you, but it still isn’t hard. Also you get body stoned which I hate. I don’t smoke as regularly any more ( Maybe a Joint 1-2 per month on average) but I used to be a major wake and bake kinda Stoner, all through high school and my early twenties, and I have never been a fan of eating my high, it just doesn’t feel right and whilst I can always function to some degree when high via smoking I can’t guarantee that for when I eat it. Maybe try upping your dose. I get high easily from smoking but always hated edibles because it was always some shitty body high. Tried taking more, 25mg, and now I like it more than smoking high. Usually kicks in after an hour, so some minor planning is needed. Make sure its sativa.
