I think i read a story recently about scientists finding bateria that eats plastic. It’s centainly only a matter of time until it happens, if there’s matter floating around that nobody wants something’s gonna fill that niche. I also read about scientist engineering an enzime to be used in combination with a bacteria to enable it to digest plastic, kind of a lock and key system to ensure they don’t proliferate and start attacking all plastics out there. Yeah that was my first thought when I read about bacteria that could eat plastic. We have alot of plastic out there. Or 1 million years from now whatever the Caeleb Dressel Welcome Back American Flag T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this dominant life form is on the planet will discover this waste product layer and scientists will speculate on the origins to include that a life form created it via a natural biological product. The Romans also had copper wire, magnets, and battery acid. They could have invented electricity hundreds of years before it was actually discovered. But they didn’t. The wire was used for jewelry, the magnets as lodestones, and the battery acid was used to clean the rust off of swords.
