i get going to the Cactus Canyon shirt and I will buy this gym can be vulnerable to some people but if you can’t handle someone making a form-check or pr video near you i think you maybe need to work on some other things before you interact with the public To add to this, I wish I had filmed my 315×3 bench. I have since injured my shoulder multiple times in sport and I’m not sure I’ll get back up to that weight. You don’t know when you’re at your peak and when it will be taken away exactly man. It’s pretty sad to be honest, but you definitely wanna be able to relive that moment. 315×3 is huge I’ve been lifting for 8 years. I coach too. I’ve never seen anyone film another person against their will to make fun of them. I see people film their sets for self assessment and to share their progress every single day. I’m not convinced people in this thread actually go to the gym.

I have no issue with people filming themselves working out. I do it to check my form–which is a pretty effective safety measure. If you happen to catch me in the Cactus Canyon shirt and I will buy this background while you’re filming, whatever. Just don’t actively film me without consent. I do think this issue is a bit overblown. I’ve been to many different gyms across the country and while a lot of people film, I can only think of one instance in which someone was actively filmed without their consent. Came here to say this. Sometimes I’ll come across a Tik Tok or IG reel making fun of someone at the gym (that clearly didn’t know they were recorded) and that’s just vile. Yes, because it’s virtually impossible to ensure everyone in the space that could accidentally wind up in frame consented to being on camera.
