I haven’t given up entirely, I just give myself more time to look for signs, don’t commit too hard early and move on quick when it comes to it.. I can scrutinize words pretty well, but actions are more telling, and need time to show up, whether in the Buster Posey S Francisco American former professional baseball catcher T-Shirt But I will love this form of inconsistency or just outright betrayal. I just never dated because my logic was that it puts people in a situation where they can’t help but want to put their best foot forward. Still don’t but it is lovely to be in a loving relationship and I absolutely am a doting, nurturing gf when I am with someone. Historically, my relationships have developed into romantic ones from well-established, long-term friendships so I’ve always just preferred that and have had success with it so I don’t think I need to touch that formula. I did for a couple of years, honestly its nothing wrong with putting dating on hold and focus on yourself. Its one of these cases that makes you stronger later on once you get back into dating, if someone breaks my trust nowdays i just shrug it off and continue on. In my case I’d say it’s less about trust, and more about finding that one you actually connect with, sure no relation can be like your previous ones that felt like they actually meant something, but that nothing even comes close ever since is demotivating enough for me to loose interest in general.
