Neurodivergent w/ epilepsy. It’s been neato. I get to sit mentally now in life. I wish there was somewhere for people who cannot take care of themselves properly. Thankfully I think I’m finally just figuring it out by myself. This happened to my neighbor. She was in her early 90s when her son died. His child, her nephew, was in his 40s and absolutely not self-sufficient. She was beside herself with grief already from being the last person in her family left alive and having no idea how to care for this mentally ill grown ass man who had been foisted upon her. It was completely heartbreaking for both of them. Oh I was mistaken I think it was her nephew’s son, not her child’s son. But she had been close to her nephew. Nonetheless all her children and extended family had died.

Now that I think about it… If your state has an office for the child advocate, it logically seems to be the place to start. I answered my own question. One should not expect good reason or justice from law. Obviously, the optics are brutal here so they may find some workaround. Basically our medical industry is controlled by politicians, those politicians are paid for by our medical industry, so there’s no real watchdog going on. This results in a system that’s great for politicians and great for our medical industry but exploits the third party, which is everyone except them. I was thinking that, when I was 16, I wasn’t able to book a cheap motel for $30/night… this girl was apparently able to book one for $1000 Um, if a child is in the CUSTODY of the government, the government is on the hook. Especially if they left her for a month outside of the necessary care. Just like prison care, group home care, anyone with a state guardian.
