Browsing through the Buffalo heart of the matter shirt also I will do this post I’m seeing people mention how people are surviving but what about the sick and elderly? The pregnant? What the hell? Maybe India should take climate change seriously. I mean look at rivers in the big cities. They are actually dumps for everything. What is it about the geography that creates this kind of heat in the region (climate change aside, obviously)? Do other countries at the same latitude experience the same heat? Thats ain’t a problem for the president of India cuz he problably live in a place with AC, but continue to encourage things that gonna ruin his own country on the ecological plan, because money is more important than the health of the people. Wet-bulb conditions are the point at which humidity and heat reach a point the evaporation of sweat no longer cools a human being thus leading to the death of otherwise healthy persons. Scientists at Lamont–Doherty Earth Observatory, surveying data from weather stations between 1979 and 2017, found 7,000 instances of these conditions, mostly in South Asia, the coastal Middle East, and southwest North America. Wet-bulb conditions occur when relative humidity is above 95% and temperatures are at least 31. 1° Celsius (88° Fahrenheit), or, a wet-bulb temperature of 35° Celsius (95° Fahrenheit). Kim Stanley Robinson’s recent book Ministry for the Future describes a fictional catastrophic heat wave in India and it’s absolutely horrifying.

This entire world is going to be in anarchy soon isn’t it. We were told for decades this was coming, did nothing and here we are. Major Wars will be fought for water in less than a decade. I have a friend who used to live in southern India, and he told me stories about how soul-crushingly horrible it was even when it rached 40C. There was no escape, no AC, it drained your energy, drained your soul, and the Buffalo heart of the matter shirt also I will do this constant smell of cooking sewage still haunts his nightmare Does India have any nuclear power plants? They really need a reliable energy source, esp when dealing with temperatures like that. Weather that hot will kill people. Don’t worry, those who are left after Putin uses nuclear weapons will be able to cool down in the nuclear winter.
