Most of the Bryson Stott Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Baseball Shirt and by the same token and day silent mode and vibrate cuz work, after work I don’t want to get alerted with noise, half the reason I do t have a door bell or will never get 1 I’m a musician and I managed to make my own ringtones and guess what… I use standard ones now… Can’t say whY. I don´t want to hear bad news or something tragic on my phone and realice a few minutes ago it was blasting Caramelldansen. Well I got my first phone at like 11 or 12. For some reason teachers love confiscating your shit if it started ringing in class so eventually I just stopped giving a shit about ringtones altogether as my phone is always on silent mode. I…still personalize my ring tones. Like, everyone gets a generic one, which tends to be a song I currently like. And then special folks get their own…my mom, my kid, favorite cousins…my kid’s dad has an annoying one…that way when my phone is in my pocket or across the room or whatever, I can know whether or not I need to get up to answer it or not hahaha I’ve mentally tuned out normal ringtones so much that I have to have something else or I miss the call. So naturally my ringtone is Nyancat. I change my ringtone every six months as I grow bored of it. I design mp3 bits in Audacity, sometimes it’s a chorus from a song, othertimes it might be toilet sounds from “Dumb, Dumber”. Anything that gets my attention. Seriously, Apple makes it stupidly a convoluted and overly complex process because they either expect you have a Mac or want to push you into getting one.

My ringtone is the Bryson Stott Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Baseball Shirt and by the same token and theme song to Star Trek- TOS. Has been for years. Before I got that, it was Welcome to the Jungle. I uh… I picked my ringtones out years ago and have carried them with me to every phone I have had since? Mine are all 30 second samples of songs I made myself. The only one that’s new is my husband’s. This is odd? TIL Way back when, we had to make a decision to buy one ringtone and stick with it because hell if I’m going to pay $1-$5 for a ringtone that I also had to pay data download fees for. So what do I pick? Idk, my favorite song of the day, that I’m bound to get sick of? Can’t choose anything I really like, but I can pick a song or two. But now I can go on YouTube and listen to any of those songs whenever I want. But realistically, when is it acceptable for your phone to ring? Not at work. They would prefer you not check your work email on the phone because of perceived professionalism. Not on the train because you’re a public menace for alerting everyone to your presence through whatever tacky choice they don’t like. Not walking around because that’s no better. Then what. At home alone? Then who cares. You probably won’t be waiting for a call long anyway if you have nothing better to do.
