I don’t have cats, but I still like them. I’m not “cat free”. Respect the Brock Stewart Minnesota fade baseball shirt Furthermore, I will do this human children of this world for they are pure and innocent, but if you choose not to have them, that is fine. As long as you do the former. As an historian living in one of the most advanced and prosperous nations in the history of the human race, I think our ancestors had way more reasons to fear the futur than us (including with climate change). And I’m certainly not alone because there would be no more children, but that’s not the point. If you don’t want children, don’t have one. Literally, no one is forcing you. You are an adult, and your choice is as valid as anyone choice. I didn’t really start wanting kids until I could do it the way I wanted – loving relationship, money, home, etc, etc I think you’re overthinking it. There is only one question that matters here: Are you and your significant other in a place (mentally) where you’re ready to pour your focus onto something other than yourself? It’s okay to say no to that, but I don’t think people should have kids without being able to answer yes to that. The fact that you’re talking about “selfishly wanting your money to yourself” tells me you’re probably in the no category, and that’s certainly normal/okay.

Yeah me & the Brock Stewart Minnesota fade baseball shirt Furthermore, I will do this fiancé are in the same boat, neither of us have a desire to have kids beyond fur babies (we have a dog and cat) and I don’t think its anyone’s business as to why. You do you. If you don’t want them don’t have them. You have plenty of time if you change your mind, we had one in our early/mid 30s and the second in our late 30s. If you do it’s luck whether you get the golden child or the opposite. It would be much better to not if you aren’t willing to basically give up all your free time and money for at least 2-3 years. After that it’s only most of your free time. Honestly my wife and I get about 2, maybe 2.5 hours but it’s all after 8:30pm. So if you fall asleep because your exhausted or need to clean up it’s more like 90 minutes or less to relax. We often don’t even make it through most movies and have to finish them the next night.
